STARS uses the power of MADYMO to simulate the occupant behavior inside the vehicle before, during and after the crash.

MADYMO is the top occupant restraint system simulation and design tool that is used by most car manufacturers to do all their occupant simulation. It is accepted all over the world as the most accurate and well validated tool to perform occupant simulations. MADYMO has a complete set of accurate models of crash test dummies as well as the world renowned actual humans models in various body sizes.

MADYMO is now also available to the accident reconstruction investigation industry via the STARS package. The dedicated MADYMO-for-STARS version has been adjusted for optimal user-friendliness and affordability. It includes the following features:

• Most common vehicle interior models
• Best in class dummy models of various body sizes
• Detailed airbag models
• Seatbelt modeling 

Future product development plans

MADYMO-for-STARS will be further developed and future version of MADYMO-for-STARS will include:

• Human models that include the muscle reflex behavior.
• Pedestrian impact models
• Motorcycle impact models
